L-KOPIA/LKO delivered the first executable JAVA version of our LD ClearLoad program in mid January.

The customer is one of the five largest class 1 railroads in North America. It is a joint venture with the railroad customer and after one year of JAVA coding (using the basics from the LKO/L-KOPIA ClearLoad program and the customer’s database) we are now ready for full scale testing.

In the end of March the customer will also run all incoming 2012 clearance data parallel with the existing clear load program.

A picture from the Detroit survey in January. The survey was performed on the Detroit Line, the Michigan Line and the North Yard Branch.

L-KOPIA also received an urgent request for a clearance survey in Detroit, Michigan in the beginning of January. Luckily for us the winter has been mild with few snowstorms so we were able to perform the 40 mile survey in one day (plus two days of travel). All data was delivered 3 days after the fieldwork.

LKO is still busy with Swedish Rail Surveys and data uploading. LKO also received surveying requests from JBV in Norway and VR in Finland. The Norwegian survey will take place in April/May 2012 and the VR survey will take place in October of 2012.
